Susan Greer, Principal of Anderson Island Elementary School was very happy to receive two checks from the Steilacoom Kiwanis Club.
Principal Greer accepts the checks from Fred Crumley, Chair of the Student Support Committee, and Dan Fannin, interim President of the Steilacoom Kiwanis Club.
One check will provide the school with a “Simple Machines” model to help students understand the concepts of levers, pulleys, wheels and axles, gears, and inclined planes. The second check will provide the library with STEM books: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
The Kiwanis Club provides funds and volunteers to support the schools of Anderson Island, Steilacoom, and Dupont.
