What a surprise to check my mail at the Steilacoom Post Office one evening to see that The Bair Bistro was still open! It turns out that Sarah Cannon, owner/proprietor of The Bair Bistro, has ventured into the Friday/Saturday evening Dinner hour (until 8 p.m.).

What a treat to have a moist and tender rib eye steak with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and vegies or, gluten-free Fish-n-Chips! Is a tender steak salad or antipasto platter more to your liking? There are a number of great dishes and beverages to try. Sarah said she is starting with a limited menu to get a feel for what folks might like most. So, come on in, try something and let Sarah know what culinary treats might be added to her menu!
While you are there, enjoy the amazing historical displays from when the Bair Drug and Hardware was a turn-of-the-century (19th to 20th) working hardware store, pharmacy, post office, and general store starting in 1895.
