Fred Crumley of the Steilacoom Kiwanis Club presented a check for $200 to Ryan Douglas, Principal of Cherrydale Primary School.
The “mini-grant” will be used to purchase 20 backpacks as part of the school’s Food Pantry Program which distributes food-pantry items on a weekly basis to 15-20 families during the school year. The Steilacoom Kiwanis Club supports the schools in Dupont, Steilacoom, and Anderson Island.
