
Mr. Mike Miller will be the new Principal of Steilacoom High School, pending school board approval on June 23, 2016.
Mr. Miller is currently the Assistant Principal of Steilacoom High School where he has served for 5 years, 4 years of those years with Athletic Director responsibilities. Previously, he served 5 years as the Dean of Students at Peninsula High School, in the Peninsula School District.
Mr. Miller started his educational career teaching English Language Arts at Stewart Middle School in the Tacoma School District. He continued teaching English Language Arts at both Stadium and Spanaway Lake High Schools before moving to Peninsula School District.
Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He received a Masters in Teaching in 2001 and completed the Educational Leadership program at City University, in 2008.
